Last year was the first year I decided to go all in for Amazon Prime Day and I still think about the great deals I got last year (a great stroller for Disney and an awesome stair stepper with a small footprint) because I haven't seen them for sale for anywhere near what I paid for them on Amazon Prime Day. So, I was anxious to start researching this year's deals. If you aren't already a Prime member, you can get a free 30-day trial by clicking here.
This year, Amazon Prime Day is Monday July 15th at midnight (PST), ending Tuesday July 16th at midnight. Now, for my favorites...

When it comes to Thanksgiving, I'm lucky that I have some wonderful family that love to host us so I end up not having to do the brunt of the work. Therefore, it's always important to come armed with a nice gift for the host or hostess to show your appreciation. As I shop for my own hostess gifts, I thought I would round up some of my favorites that I found!
There's nothing I love more than gift-searching and getting a lot of bang out of an inexpensive gift. So, here are some of my favorite gifts for the girls in your life - all under $25!
![]() I know, it sounds a bit dramatic to say that a baby product could change my life, but when you come across that one thing that really makes a difference in your day-to-day, it's a game changer! Here are some of my favorites that I always suggest to friends: Alcohol-Free Foaming Hand Sanitizer This is my #1, because switching to alcohol-free hand sanitizer was such a game changer for us and totally not something I would have ever thought of pre-baby. When our 1st son was born, we had a standard bottle of hand sanitizer next to
Something I was really worried about before our Orlando trip was how to keep two toddlers happy while waiting in line at Disney, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. My older son is pretty easy to please, but my 1-year-old is wild, curious and needs to be moving constantly. So, I was definitely nervous about how he'd respond to being confined to small spaces for long periods of time. I did tons of research before our trip (as always!) to figure out the best ways to keep my kiddos happy while we waited in the heat. I'm happy to say that we had very few unhappy moments during our 8-day trip (6 of those days were 12+ hour days at theme parks, and 2 were travel days) which is miraculous, really. Here are some of the things that worked:
Wax Sculpting Sticks If you haven't played with these before, you need to buy them - theme parks or not. They're so
To say I overanalyzed packing for our 6-day theme park trip to Orlando would be an under statement. I know that my kids (and husband) are best behaved when everything is in order and there aren't any surprises. So, I spent a whole lot of time figuring out the best needs for us while on our trip. We did 5 days at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure and one day at Disney (Hollywood Studios). Each day, we did over 12 hour days with a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old who were happy just about 90% of the time...so, I'd say it was a successful trip! Below are some of the things I ordered for our trip that were most helpful.
Water Resistant Clear Pouches I really cannot stress enough how much I love these clear pouches. I use them for everything. Each day, I used a large sized pouch to pack matching shirts and shorts for the boys. Each daily
I'm all about non-candy Halloween favors. Not because I'm anti-candy or anything, but because I know for us our kids get SO MUCH OF IT that why not mix things up a bit and give other kiddos a non-candy Halloween option. Here are some of the fun options I found while researching for favors from my own kids:
Play-Doh Halloween Favors This is actually the option I ended up going with because this package comes with 50 (!) containers for around $25...that's cheaper than some candy options. With the package of 50,
I feel like I always have a hard time shopping for my husband for birthdays, Christmas, Father's Day, etc. He is very clear about what he likes and has a very specific, refined taste when it comes to many things. However, he never asks for anything and doesn't ever want me to buy him anything. So, it's hard to find gifts to show him how much we appreciate him while also not going overboard - a sort of happy medium between not buying him anything and still treating him to fun, new things that he deserves.
Over the years, I've done so much research trying to find him the absolute best gifts, so I figured I would share some of the gifts that he has loved the most during his 20's and 30's: Stocking Stuffers for Men Pocket Chainsaw I know this sounds crazy, but my husband loves this thing. We actually broke a hand saw cutting down a tree that was growing too close to our house, and he pulled this thing out and it |
